the right water

Choose fresh, clean water to ring out the best flavors in your tea. Filtered or spring water is ideal, as it avoids the impurities or strong minerals that can interfere with the tea's taste. Avoid distilled water, as it lacks the natural minerals that enhance the tea's flavor profile.

heat the water

Bring your water to the ideal temperature based on the type of tea you are brewing. Avoid overheating, as it can scald delicate teas and impact their flavor. Please refer to your tea packaging for specific brewing instructions tailored to each flavor. Proper water temperature ensures you get the best flavor and aroma from your tea.

steep the tea

Place your tea bag or loose-leaf tea in your cup/teapot and pour the hot water over it. Allow the tea to steep for the recommended time - usually between 3-5 minutes, deepening on the flavor and type. Check your tea packaging for specific steeping times to achieve the perfect balance of taste and aroma. Avoid overstepping, as it can make the tea taste bitter.
